Summer: Going, Going, Gone.

Ah, Summertime: A season of sun, sand, overpriced lemonade, and third-degree sunburn... And now its over. Well, technically. School is in session at our house, so you could say that summer's done with...
If you think that normal Fall weather is 102 degrees. (Thank's again for that awesome forecast Mr. Weatherman.)

But far beyond our stay-cation in beautiful McSomewhere, it actually has been a pretty interesting summer. America's been snowed in, rained out, and melted down; Spain's won its first world cup and banned bullfighting in the same month (now even the bulls are futbol fans); the world has even seen its official fifth year of You-Tube, the world's biggest distraction engine!

And among all of this, the old Red, White, And Blue has celebrated its 235th birthday in style... and it hasn't looked a day older. So, yes, there's a feeling like I'm going to miss the summertime. But the Fall season has got a lot in store, like cool weather, a new school year, and a chance that the New Orleans Saints will FINALLY lose a game! (That's a big plus.)
